Why would I take Level 2 a second time? I had taken both Gottman Level 1 and Level 2. I was integrating what I learned into my practice with couples. I was reading the manuals. However, I still felt like such a novice. I wasn't where I wanted to be in my understanding of the Gottman Method. I had an opportunity to take Level 2 again with Dr. Nancy Young and I decided to go for it. I was so glad I did! Since I had already utilized some of the interventions with my couples, doing Level 2 the second time is what really brought them to life for me and solidified my understanding of them. It also prepared me to get the most out of my Level 3 experience. I highly recommend a doing Level 2 twice if you get the opportunity! ~Sharon Wierenga, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
“I am a Gottman Level 3 trained clinician and have taken Levels 1 & 2 twice at Pathways to Wellness. Repeating the levels with Dr. Nancy Young really helped me to solidify the model and organize it better in my mind. It was a great refresher to immediately use skills in my practice the following week with couples. I look forward to repeating Level 3 soon for some hands on practice thanks to Pathways offering discounted rates for repeat students!” ~Regina Collins, MS, LMFT
